Jon E. Kirchner is our Chief Executive Officer and also serves on our board of directors. Previously, he was CEO of Xperi Holding Corporation after the merger with TiVo. Prior to that he served as CEO of Xperi Corporation. In December of 2016, he was appointed President of Xperi following the completion of the acquisition of DTS. At DTS he was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors in 2010 and served as the company's Chief Executive Officer beginning 2001. Jon led DTS through a period of significant success, growing it from a small startup, to a global industry leader generating over $190 million in licensing revenue. Prior to joining DTS he worked for the consulting and audit groups at Price Waterhouse LLP (now PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP). During his tenure at Price Waterhouse LLP, he advised clients on a range of strategy, finance, operations and valuation issues. In 2012, Jon received the Ernst & Young Technology Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Greater Los Angeles and in 2011, he was honored by the Producers Guild of America, receiving the “Digital 25: Leaders in Emerging Entertainment” award for being among the visionaries that have made significant contributions to the advancement of digital entertainment and storytelling. From June 2012 to April 2023, Jon served on the Board of Directors of Free Stream Media Corporation (Samba TV), a leader in developing cross platform TV experiences for consumers and advertisers.

Jon is a Certified Public Accountant and received a B.A. in Economics, cum laude, from Claremont McKenna College.

Robert Andersen serves as chief financial officer. Based in San Jose, he is responsible for all aspects of finance, accounting, tax, treasury, investor relations and information technology. 

Robert joined as CFO in 2014 and has guided the company through several mergers and acquisitions. 

Robert has many years of leadership experience in Silicon Valley at both private and public technology companies, including Phoenix Technologies, Wind River Systems and Hewlett Packard. 

He currently serves on the board of directors for the Alameda County Community Food Bank.

Robert holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California, Davis. 

Kris Graves serves as chief human resources officer. Based in Calabasas, she oversees a team responsible for global HR operations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits, performance management, and learning and development.

Kris joined DTS, a part of Xperi, as senior vice president of human resources in 2012 and held several HR-related positions before being promoted to chief human resources officer.  

Prior to joining DTS, Kris served as the senior vice president of human resources and administration at THQ Inc., a developer and publisher of interactive software, where she was responsible for developing human capital strategies and programs. Prior to joining THQ, Kris served in a human resources management role for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. She also served as a senior consultant at Ernst & Young LLP and advised clients on human resources strategies and systems.

Kris holds a bachelor’s degree from Loyola Marymount University.

Becky Marquez serves as chief legal officer and corporate secretary. Based in Calabasas, Becky manages Xperi’s legal affairs, guiding the company through complex legal issues and regulatory compliance.

Becky oversees business transactions, product development, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate matters, including securities law compliance and corporate governance. As corporate secretary, Becky facilitates communication between Xperi’s board of directors, stockholders, and stakeholders, fostering transparency and supporting decision-making processes within the company.  

Prior to joining Xperi in 2022, Becky was general counsel at Ring LLC, which was acquired by Amazon. Before Ring, she was assistant general counsel and assistant secretary at Tribune Publishing Company, and assistant general counsel and assistant secretary at United Online, Inc. Prior to that, Becky worked as an associate at Latham & Watkins.

Becky received her juris doctor and bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Matt Milne serves as chief revenue officer. He is responsible for sales, marketing, content and monetization.

Matt joined TiVo, a part of Xperi, in 2011 as senior vice president of consumer electronic sales. He has held several roles throughout his tenure with responsibilities including worldwide sales, marketing, product management and licensing.

Matt previously held various sales, marketing and product leadership positions at DivX, MediaFLO USA (a wholly owned subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated), Viewsonic, Gateway, Inc., Cameo Technologies and Western Digital.

Matt holds an MBA from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and a bachelor’s degree in business from California State University, Fullerton.

John Pernin serves as chief strategy and corporate development officer. Based in Calabasas, he is responsible for leading a combined strategy, corporate development and business transformation organization.

Since joining DTS, a part of Xperi, in 2006 to oversee its corporate development efforts, John has played a pivotal role in leading our growth and transformation strategy through mergers and acquisitions, corporate divestitures and strategic partnerships.

Earlier in his career, John held corporate development, investment banking and investment management positions with Cadiz Inc., First Union Securities, Inc.’s Investment Banking division and Dimensional Fund Advisors.

John holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in business economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Geir Skaaden serves as chief products and services officer. Based in Calabasas, Geir is responsible for leading Xperi’s product and engineering teams whlie managing the company's portfolio of Pay TV, Consumer Electroincs, Automotive, and Media Platform solutions.

Geir joined DTS, a part of Xperi, in 2008 and has held a number of leadership roles over the years where he has overseen product management, business development, global licensing and marketing. He later became executive vice president of products, platforms and solutions prior to being promoted to his current role.

Before his time at DTS, Geir served as the chief executive officer at Neural Audio Corporation.

Geir holds an MBA from the University of Washington, a business degree from the Norwegian School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Oregon.
