Major Consumer Electronics Manufacturer Licenses Entertainment
Discovery IP for Interactive Guides

Rovi Corporation (NASDAQ: ROVI) today announced that Rovi has renewed
its entertainment discovery patent portfolio license agreement with one
of the top U.S. TV manufacturers Funai Electric for its entertainment
products. This license covers North America and expands upon Funai’s
existing agreements with Rovi in Europe and Japan.
